How do I book a holiday?

You can only book direct with us. Check the 'Booking Information' page and confirm your preferred dates with us via email or phone.

How do I pay for my holiday?

When we confirm your booking an invoice will be emailed to you with BACs details, once we have received payment all the relevant details to access the house will be emailed.

Does my holiday have to start on a Saturday?

No, as long as its not in peak periods (school holidays), you can start/finish your holiday at any time.  During peak times, breaks can only be taken from Saturday to Saturday.

How many does the house sleep?

The house has beds for 8 people, plus a pull out sofa bed for 2 more. (So 10 people max) There are two downstairs bedrooms with twin single beds in each room and there are 2 upstairs bedrooms, 1 with a double bed and the sofa bed & a back bedroom with 2 more single beds.

Can I bring pets with me?

Yes, as long as they are well behaved and you will need to follow site rules which require dogs to be on leads at all times.

What time can we arrive / leave by?

You can arrive from 2pm onwards on the first day of your holiday, please vacate by 1pm on the last day.  

Do we need to “check in” at Reception?

No, you go directly to the House, you do not need to “check in”.  Reception is worth a visit at some point, as they have lots of information about the park, and local area. There are lots of additional activities available to you on the Park (charges may apply) that you need to book through reception.

How do I access the House?

We have a key safe next to the kitchen door.  All the information is sent to you once payment is received.

Does the House have WiFi?

Wi-Fi is available via the sites system, You need to log on and choose a package to suit your requirements. 

What is included in the price of our holiday?

Gas, Water and electricity is included. Also, access to the swimming pool and club house / entertainment and fishing lakes (Rod License required for over 12’s).  You may be asked to show your passes to enter the pool, Laminated passes are located in the blue 'house folder'.

There are duvets and pillows, but you will need to bring bedsheets, duvet covers and pillow cases for any beds you plan to use.

We do not have any cleaners, so you will be required to clean at the end of your stay, a basic vacuum and bathroom clean is normally sufficient.

Swimming & Activities

You will need to book slots for the pool by either calling into reception or ringing 01208 228852, you can also book other activities.

Is the House well maintained?

Yes, but if you spot any issues please highlight them to us, cleaning is carried out by guests on their last day and if you have any issues with the cleanliness of the house then we would like to know.

What if I have a problem?

There is a list of emergency contacts in the House folder and on the Health and Safety tab on the website.  There is a pay phone at reception if you do not have a mobile.

For any other issues with other guests or something to do with the site please contact reception staff, they are very happy  to help. 

What if I break something?

Accidents happen, all we ask is you let us know, we can then make sure it has been fixed/replaced before new guests arrive, or replace the item yourself (as close to like for like as possible please) Obviously, please let us know asap if something is broken, so that we can arrange tradesmen to visit.

Is there any entertainment?

During school holidays there is fantastic kids entertainment.  Lots of activities during the day as well as evening entertainment. There are normally live singers and entertainers on a weekly basis.

Will I need a car?

Yes you will, there is very little within walking distance, the nearest train station is Bodmin approximately 20 minutes away.  To explore Cornwall, you really do need a car to get around.

Is the House suitable for winter breaks?

Yes. The House has double glazed windows and is insulated. There is full gas central heating with radiators in every room, (Gas & Electricity is included in the price).
